Over the past year there have been debates of various brands selling out or going mainstream and even talks that streetwear is dying out. Others see this change as a complete shift in the fashion scene, but what we are witnessing is really the beginning of a new wave in streetwear. Since Obey's start in 2001, their staple has been to always change, evolve, and embrace new chapters as they come. Working within those guidelines the room for growth as a brand has always been filled with potential and it can be seen in the latest Obey collection from the simple graphic T-shirts to versatile jackets. Our fourth location is up and running. Located in the Brea Mall, on the second floor right next to Sears, Dwntwn has opened its doors and is brining all the style and creativity you've come to expect from us to our new home. Every day the floor is filling up with more product, every wall is getting more art hung on it, and every hanger is being put to use to display the latest from all the brands we carry. Shoe Jam Recap

If you thought you loved something so much you would do anything for it then think again, because the love for sneakers is undefinable for some people. These people are called Sneakerheads and they have made a living out of it. DWNTWN presented the first ever Sneaker Jam event that welcomed sneaker lovers of all ages to come out and buy/sell/trade at our Cerritos location. Sneaker enthusiasts from all around California flocked over to the shop and showcased their collection of sneakers from Nike SB, Air Jordans, Vans and a variety of other sought after sneakers. DJ Episode was also spinning on the turntables along with artists Dino and Kickstradomus customizing sneakers. Stussy Summer 14

The brand that's been kicking since the early 80's has yet again come up with another eye-catching collection for summer. Also known as one of the pioneers in streetwear, Stussy has made a name in Southern California as one of the classic brands that never get old. Sticking to their roots Stussy has teamed up with  Phade, a world-renowned graffiti artist, to release a collection of T-shirts with his signature airbrush designs while adding a touch of Stussy influence. Along with that we have the rest of the Summer collection that consists of one of the signature pieces, the Island Flower mesh tank, which has a variety of blooming flowers all along the perforated tank that's perfect for cooling off in the summer. Supra Summer 2014 Drop

New arrivals from Supra have made its way with seven different styles ready for Summer. Anyone that enjoys wearing casual shoes that still has the potential to turn heads knows that Supra does the job. For this season the footwear company came up with the Wrap and Cuba in their new red tropical print. The wrap's low-cut profile has been revamped with better quality foxing tape and a higher form then previous models. Another shoe put into the spotlight are the high-top Vaiders that provide maximum comfort and board feel. The shoe features plenty of collar padding, mesh lining, and a SUPRAFOAM footbed for impact. Herschel's Spring Line

Starting up in 2009 with a goal in mind to produce quality product with style in mind Herschel has constructed a full line of travel goods and accessories with a variety of prints and colors. They have teamed up with California based artist, Kevin Butler, to come up with a print that he calls Rad Cars with Rad Surfboards on Them. The idea of his art is for those who can relate to the nostalgia of driving to and from the beach to catch some waves and enjoy the crisp California air. The Rad Collection is made up of bright, contrasting hues like Orange, Defender Green and Bone to create that eye-catching contrast of a typical surfer car. We also have the new Pacific print from Herschel which takes the hand drawn aesthetics of a wildlife guide on their variety of functional products. Herschel also has their unique Duck Camo colorway that ties together two prints, one of duck camo and the other a floral print. Herschel has married these two patterns together to flow smoothly while keeping the vivid colors of the season in mind. The Highland luggage, Sutton mind duffle, Settlement backpack and Heritage backpack are now available at the shop with the Duck Camo colorway. Along with that we have received the usual collection with new accents of antique brass buttons, reinforced nylon rubber straps and natural leather that can be found on the Walton duffle, Little America backpack and Heritage backpacks. Hall Of Fame

The Los Angeles based streetwear brand famous for their sport-inspired apparel and head wear has made its way into DWNTWN. Hall of Fame has been a native in the Fairfax district of Los Angeles for a good number of years building relationships and earning respect from brands with collaborations like Huf and Diamond Supply Co. Uganda Children 2 Detail

Obey has rooted themselves as the "Do It Yourself Counterculture of Punk Rock and Skateboarding" with their variety of prints and designs that take a good stare or two to figure out the meaning of. The Posse further develops this vibe with their new Spring 2014 delivery which just hit our shelves.

They have continued their Awareness Program that donates all of the proceeds to various charities and this time Shepard Fairey has chosen the African Dream Initiative and made the Uganda Children Fine Art 2 design. Along with that, you are also seeing more of the all-over prints from the Pipeline jacket with the tropic print and the Port Coach jacket with the seagull illustrations. The Quality Dissent Raw Denim jeans are looking better than ever with their classic deep blue wash and gold stitching that go with everything in your closet. Radii Spring 2014

Radii(ray-dee-eye) is pushing the limits with their brand new collection of the models Phuket Runners, SJV2, Height, and The Jack.The new Phuket Runner has a lightweight construction made for comfort while maintaining its flashy look and is a new transition from their famed high tops like the Straight Jacket. Another high top, the SJV2, is available in Radii's White Birds of Paradise colorway. This particular model is made for control with the shoe hugging your feet with help from two velcro straps and cushioned upper. The Height can also be added to the list as another stylized high top with its unique look and sole shared with the SJV2. The Jack model has done it again with three new colorways in a Tiffany Denim, Black Gum, and the White Birds of Paradise suitable for Spring.
