Sneaker Jam Follow Up
DWNTWN
And that’s a wrap for the third Sneaker Jam at DWNTWN in Cerritos. First off, thank you to all the sneaker heads, enthusiasts, vendors, customizers, live artists, sponsors, and everyone else for cruising out to be a part of such a great event. The entire day was a success because of you! The Sneaker Jam is a shoe event for everyone to buy, sell, and trade some of the rarest and limited shoes in the world like Yeezys, Jordans, and Nike SB Quickstrikes.

For our third installment of the Sneaker Jam we had ten vendors and three customizers, all of which also do restorations, set up with tables and plenty of selection for everyone who rolled through. We screen all of our vendors like Kicks Bids and The Stash Company so that everyone there is certified and only selling authentic kicks. In short, it's still Yeezy Season but there were only two all black 750 Boosts at the Sneaker Jam for re-sell. These Yeezys are just too rare and incredibly hard to get your hands on and have some of the highest re-sell value shoes in the game right now. Some rare sneakers worn at the Sneaker Jam had to have been the Adidas Yeezy 750 Boosts in all black, Supreme x Jordan 5 in black and red, and the Nike SB 420 Dunk Low Quickstrike that were an early release! They are made of all hemp with a Rasta color accent on the front tongue patch label and throughout the stitching of the shoe.
We had Speezy Customz on hand at the event making custom Jordan-sized hangtahgs for your collection (pictured to the right are a few of his custom pieces). Check out his instagram here to see even more of his work. We also had portrait artist Mariella Angela on hand working on an incredible piece of none other than Michael Jordan. Mariella has worked with us for years now and her skill is incredible to see in person. Be sure to stop by on a Saturday when she does live painting in our store to appreciate the skill that goes into each one of her portraits.
And who doesn’t like giveaways? Rastaclat, Jason Markk and Sneaker Freaker were also at the Sneaker Jam to keep things interesting. Rastaclat set up a raffle for their limited Yeezy stack bracelets during the Sneaker jam. It was two bracelets made to match Adidas Yeezy 350 Boosts in the Black Pirate and Turtle Dove colorways.
DWNTWN would like to thank everyone for making the Sneaker Jam possible and the sneaker community. If it wasn’t for you this event would not be possible. Until the next one we hope you enjoyed this event and continue to love collecting and wearing what makes you happy!
