Best Trick Contest 2015

For our first official skate event of 2015 we had a double header Best Trick Contest featuring a Best Trick Up The Bump Over The Trash Can and a Best Trick On The Pyramid. The Arovista Skate Park in Brea was the perfect place for the entire event to keep it local and give back to everyone that supports Dwntwn. The smell of pizza in the air definitely brought both contestants and spectators alike to see what we had going planned for the day. Filmbot, Sk8Mafia, SML Wheels, JSLV, Kr3w, and Supra were also there all set up with prizes and giveaways! As we set up the contests, you could see each contestant showed up fully prepared to defeat any competition that they were to be faced with. Each contest was filled with the drive and determination to show up everyone else there and be the best. A few rippers that stood out in particular were Joey with his nollie big heel up the bump and Robert who pulled off a proper tre flip to flat on the pyramid. Needless to say, both were voted first place in each of those contests which included over $200 worth of gear and gift certificates.
